JUMP-Or-Treat

Jack’s Urban Meeting Place

October 23, 5:30pm - 8:30pm

JUMP-Or-Treat is a great family friendly event that will transform the JUMP park into a world of Halloween wonder. Kids and even adults are encouraged to put on a costume and “JUMP-Or-Treat” while exploring the outdoor areas of JUMP. Treats and treasures will be available to all that attend and warm chili and cider will be available. This free event is a great way to get into the Halloween Spirit in a fun and safe atmosphere! 

 

 

 

Linder Farms Fall Festival

Linder Farms, Meridian

Friday, 5pm-10pm

Saturday 10am-10pm

Linder Farms’s Fall Festival is a favorite of many locals young and old alike. The farm boasts many attractions for all ages. This year the farm is in full swing and offers bounce houses, hay rides, ziplines, axe throwing, and much more! Linder Farms is open Monday through Saturday until October 30th. 

 

Candy In The Corn

Lowe Family Farmstead, Kuna

Monday-Thursday, 4pm-9pm

Friday and Saturday, 10am-10pm

The Lowe Family Farmstead goes all out with their family friendly attractions. The farmstead offers tons of traditional attractions like a huge corn maze, pumpkin patch, and carnival games. However, what makes the farmstead unique is its candy cannon, apple blasters, and even pig races!  The farmstead also hosts special events like Food Truck Rallys on Fridays and Candy In The Corn on October 30th. The Lowe Family Farmstead is open Monday-Thursday from 4am to 9pm and Fridays and Saturdays 10am to 10pm.

 

The Haunted World

Caldwell

Monday-Friday, Dusk-10pm

Idaho's scariest and largest haunted attraction returns for its 22nd year. The spooky experience encompasses 35 acres of frights and jumps. There's the Haunted World, a terrifying cornfield that winds its way underground at times; Skullvania, a hostel asylum gone wrong; and the Corn Maze, 15 acres of paths to get lost in. If you want to skip the often long line, buy your tickets online and you can present them at the door and save some time! 

 

 

Squawky & Spirits At The Old Penitentiary

Old Idaho Penitentiary

October 30, 6pm-12am

The Idaho State Historical Society has brought back their Squawky & Spirits event this year! You can spend the night before Halloween at one of Idaho’s most haunted locations. This event allows you to explore the Penitentiary all night and features food trucks, music, history presentations, no-host bar, and much more! This event is one night only, October 30th, and is for ages 21 and up.

 

 

 

Fall Harvest Festival

Idaho Botanical Garden

Saturday, 10am-3pm

Every Saturday throughout October, the Idaho Botanical Garden is hosting the Fall Harvest festival. This event has something for everyone with its pumpkin patch, artisan vendors, unique food trucks, local beer and cider, live music, and the Scarecrow Stroll! The Scarecrow stroll features a variety of scarecrows designed by schools, businesses, and individual artisans that are always incredible to see! The Botanical Garden’s trees are also beautiful this time of year and this is a great way to get out and see the beautiful red and yellow leaves before winter!
