Music 🎶

Jump, Jam, Jive

These jam seshes take place at the JUMP Park every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. starting June 3rd through August 26th. These shows are perfect for people looking for family-friendly events, open to all ages, showcasing performances from local nonprofit organizations.

Outlaw Field Summer Music Series

From Charley Crockett to Cypress Hill, you can join a varying sequence of artists on the botanical Garden Field this summer all while enjoying the historic roots of Boise. Click here for more information.

Evenings at Edwards 

Gorgeous gardens, free music, food trucks and more. Can’t get much better than that. Join the Legacy Gardens this summer for free live music with your family and friends on July 16th, August 20th and September 17th (the third Tuesday of each month) for amazing shows!

Bogus Basin Music on the Mountain

If you’re looking for more of an adventure and scenic environment for your music endeavors, join Bogus Basin on the mountain for local live music, drinks, snacks and maybe a ride on the Glade Runner Mountain Coaster. These events all bring you back to the true roots of Boise and why we love to call this place home.


Art, Culture & Markets 🎭 🎨

Idaho Shakespeare Festival

This unique festival blends together a rather full experience of professional theatre, concerts and a notable marketplace. The Boise Amphitheater pulls you into the beautiful landscaping of the Treasure Valley to experience the magic of accessible live theatre.

Garden City First Friday Studio Stroll

This open location art and studio stroll takes place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at many of the unique shops on Chinden Blvd in Garden City right by the Greenbelt River. Many of the locations will be featuring pop up art shows, live performances and exhibitions. 

Meridian Community Art Party

The Community Art Party will be taking place on September 13 at Kleiner Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event was created with the Meridian Arts Commission to specifically focus on the local artists in the area and create more opportunities for art to be involved with the community. It also aims to highlight all different forms of art such as visual, literary, theatre, dance and music. First Thursday Art Stroll

This local market takes place in Downtown Boise every first Thursday of the month and includes everything for everyone; food and beverage tasting, local art, retail, live music and much more. Extremely fun activity to take your family and friends to.


Festivals & Outdoor Fun 🎆

Treasure Valley Rodeo

Grab your cowboy hat and get ready for a ride, celebrating their 36th Anniversary, this rodeo takes place in the heart of Meridian on June 27th and 28th at 6 p.m both nights. Experience some exciting events such as bareback riding, bull riding, barrel racing and much more. 

Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic

This unforgettable event is truly one of a kind. From August 27th to 31st, Boise’s skies come alive as vibrant hot air balloons lift off from Ann Morrison Park, visible from all across downtown. A beloved tradition that draws both locals and visitors, the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic offers a magical, colorful experience you won’t want to miss.

Fireworks
